I am truely scared by the Toyota Hilux we have at work. Only vehicle I have crossed up on a straight bit of road. In 5th gear at 100kph accelerated to pass a truck, the back end followed the camber of the road.
Like most 4x4's it has the turning circle of the Aratika so the Mad drift broz was limited to me momentarily shitting myself and then pretending to my mate that I had done it intentionally.

There's a Lynx like mine floating around somewhere with a 1UZ in it...
Also in the Lynx club register from 1990, there were 2 V8s, one a Rover 3.5, the other a 4.4l from a P76!!

The 3 door hatchback we having to go as it to small for our family. Me, the Mrs, 3 year old and one due in 3 months time.
The wife has clearly stated no Volvo/Saab or anything British or French. It needs to be 5 door and under €2000.
As this place is LHD there are alot of american cars I thought I shouldn't write out the options. I would like a late 60's or early 70's one but they are a bit out of my budget. Any advice on these?

I have been surfing the local trademe here and here are a few examples (yes it is in Finnish)

All that stuff is considered unusual over here for sure, so might be hard finding anyone with any 'hands-on' experience with any of them. To me, the Olds and the Dodge look like trouble. Im an unashamed Ford fan, but of the 4 I would be looking at the Caprice. Sure the 305 is nothing special, but if anything ever went majorly wrong with the motor (or trans), replacement belly-button motor (350) is straight bolt-in deal, and lets face it, nothing says 'caring parent' like a Matt-black american station wagon.
