Ham, Cheddar cheese and Branston pickle. The king of sandwiches. Shame branston is hard to get here.

Yup - at the bargain price of $5632 per jar.
Unfortunately I live in Golden Bay - mayonnaise is seen as a foreign novelty here so i am shit outta luck.

I would agree with this, with two minor stipulations. The cheese MUST be finely grated, the Branston SHOULD be "Small chunks"

Oh wow - so wrong on both counts.

The cheese should be big hunks of genuine cheddar, and the branston should be the original chunky crunchy variety. (the ham should be a quality ham straight off the bone ideally - hellers thin cut is an abomination)

You mean there's something wrong with the $9/kg stuff that is 1/3 ham, 1/3 soy protein, 1/3 liquefied chicken and flour? Come over here and say that!
At my age I'm just eating it for the preservatives anyway.
