And isn't her brother currently banned for old fashioned chemical doping?

ICU is where you go when you have a really bad crash. Are you sure it was not the UCI?

Happens all the time at that level. Grabs the wrong drink, flu medication, dietary supplement or bike. I mean her mate probably rides exactly the same set up with the same fit as her world championship riding friend.

You have to feel for the lady. How unlucky do you have to be, to have a friend who happens to be at the races, who has exactly the same bike, with exactly the same race number, who happens to takes it out for a spin before the race AND convinces the mechanic to clean it for them. :hmmm: Dang, use unlucky gurl.

My Dutch is a bit rusty. All I can understand is something about a cheese omelete.

Very unlucky to have the same saddle, seat height, stem length and rise, same handlebar tape.

Her bike is the same? As in, it has a motor too? :eh:

Quite possibly. But that's ok because she didn't ride it.
Catch-22. They can't penalize her for riding her friends motorized bike because it was an honest mistake and they can't penalize her for having her own motorized bike because she never rode it in competition. Brilliant really.

It was more of a case it was lined up in the pits as one of her spare bikes (I'm guessing you're allowed to change bikes in cyclo-cross races...?) so although she hadn't ridden it yet she may have chosen to during the race.

What's a mystery is why someone would go to the trouble of concealing the motor to make the bike look identical to her race bike but then have visible wires coming out of the seat tube.

End of the day she had it with herso she's fucked.
