What is a good rear tyre for woodhill (sand)

or are they all pretty much the same in sand??

Hookworms would be the go

Anything with a tire tread really. Larsens or Continental Verticals I have found good in sand

Ones I have heard are good are Nokian NBXs (3 of us use them and they rock) and others swear by the Maxxis high rollers.

GF and I went out to Woodhill today, she had new continental verticals front and back, loved every minute.

I had one on the front of the Reign - loved it.

Taking into account though that Woodhill is more hardpacked sand and pine needles right now (w00t!)

So to summarise, Continental Verticals good. Tripples on hardtails bad

depends on what you're riding style is, i'm an a/m sort of bloke and i'm liking a highroller on the back and a minion on the front

my friend and i both use high rollers front and back, and both agree that they r nice grippy tires, i also ride at woodhill often and found these tyres really nice with the sand

hopefully this guy bought a tyre 17 months ago.....
