Awesome and fascinating parcours from Monte Carlo to the Ventoux, especially the latter if there are still several contenders.

No doubt Armstrong is the best tour rider of all time (as well as the biggest cunzor). Just like there is no debate Merckx is the best cyclist of all time.

There will no more dominant 2 than Eddy Merckx and Roger De Vlaeminck. Those two fucking dominated.

De Vlaeminck!

Has the Tour finished up Arcalis since Ullrich won there in his 97 victory? I don't think so...that'll be a great finish too. A perfect climb for an in-form Armstrong. :sly:

I'm thinking if Lance wins the tour this year, I might come back and ride another Giro.

Evans was into it last night, numerous attacks and managed to take 14 seconds out of Contador :)

UCI is announcing all the naughty dopers (on the basis of the Blood Passport data) tomorrow - I suspect it could be a lot of the peloton's only Tour around France this year.

It's going to be a very interesting process - UCI will not suspend in the interim (until sanctions reached) so will place the onus on teams to enforce the system. It's a system that'll work only so long as all the teams comply.

I wonder what the Rider's Association will have to say, I'm suspecting some big (and surprising) names to be implicated.
