+1 for oval gas Weber. Has the added advantage of fitting in the back of a station wagon for quality camp cooking.

Pork is great, it's ham specifically that's bad.

Anyone got any recommendations for gas bbq brands? I'm getting a weber for my charcol bizzo but have nfi where to start with gas ones. My current gas is tiny and pretty stink all up.

Highly recommend going Weber on gas as well. I know I'll get ridiculed for it, but ours is the shiz. Gets used all the time, cooks exceptionally well. Expensive but worth it IMHO.

Ryda will be along soon to tell me it's not a bbq.

after collecting flybuys for god know how long, I bought a Weber with them. Previously I thought flybuys were useless.

I blew my flybuys on kitchen scales and flash drives :paranoid:

The smaller webers are interesting, I was thinking more along the lines of a basic hooded jobbie with a rotisserie (to spin that meat right round baby) hmm hmm

Man you must have been saving flybuys since they started back in the mid 90s to have bought a Weber with them

We bought the smallest one (Baby Q) for camping. Fits perfectly inside our car roof box.
Haven't used the big bbq (usual 4 burner bbq factory jobby) since.

You don't need the same hot plate area with them as they're hot all over - but you have to get used to cooking with the hood down all the the time.

A rotisserie would be mean as bro.
