America has had some good SNAFU situations. The Pepcon fire was pretty bad in 1988. That is when you could smoke at work and a brave person was smoking at a rocket fuel factory causing this.

The Buchon LPG filling station in South Korea is pretty spectacular as they have a fuel tanker on fire, surrounded by LPG canisters on fire sitting on an underground storage of the filling station itself about to blow up.
