I've seen these advertised recently and was looking at one in the LBS today. Anyone own one? Used one? Have an uninformed and highly biased internet opinion??

My brother has one, we've used it regularly.

He rates it highly. I think it's good, not great.

Certainly is a quick and easy rack to put on the car.

I give it 3 stars out of 5.

We looked at them, wife almost lost a thumb trying it out in the store....

SOld heaps of them and used them, great for two bikes, simple no tools, folds flat, what more do you want! only hassel we've had is there were a few brought into NZ for the bigger towball size by mistake. Thule sorted it within an hour of us calling them, so awsome back up service too.

I got one. Piece of cake to use, folds flat so easy to chuck in the boot. Holds bike securely.

But I can't not have nightmares about the towball locking mechanism. Hasn't failed, hasn't come close, but still gives me the willies.

Got one of these - great innovation, easy to fit with no tools, safe and secure, ability to lock in place for extra security, folds real small for keeping in the boot. But agree with an earlier post - you need to be careful removing it as the release of the tension locking it onto the towball can produce a bit of kickback for the unwary the 1st time you use it.

Hrmm. Interesting.

What types of bikes are you guys using them for? I'd be slightly worried about how various full sus frames would fit?
