This Weeks Listener Cycling Feature Article ;-)

:) Both the article and the editorial are very pro cycling. Good on them I reckon
Buy it, read it, hand it around and write a ‘thankyou’ to the ed and feature writer.

It's a good read alright. Top stuff - written for an intelligent readership, unlike the audience that some of the anti-bike ranting has been aimed at on talkback etc.

Listener and intelligant readership aren't two words I'd normally put together.

compared to your average talkback listener, the average Listener reader is a genius!!!

talkback radio is the ultimate example of why democracy doesn't work - some people are just too thick to be allowed to make their own choices :satan:

:) The people who write the letters to the editor of the Listener often have very good things to say/points of view so I would think the readership is made up of some reasonably smart people. We never buy it….

Positive article, but tempered a bit by a pic of four roadies blocking a whole lane in front of a car.

i don't like the comment by the mayors & whatnots saying we should expect to get hit & that they shouldn't spent any money on cycle lanes etc

for those in a recession I scanned the article & it will follow:

While I found the article interesting, I also found it quite disheartening. It seems there is such a long way to go in changing attitudes to cyclists.

Yep, four idiots  (hope I don't know them...) riding up Scenic Drive - with it blind corners et al. Also being a winding road legally they shouldn't even be two abreast.
I guess its a photo to show just what so many car only drivers are pee'd off with - Roadies hogging the roads.
