OK. I have found a compass..

Now time to learn how to use it :paranoid:

Edit: Crap! My compass doesn't have a turning thingy
Edit edit: Do I even NEED a compass for this thing?! :eh: I'm sooo confused!

The weather forecast for tomorrow said that the wind was going to gust up to 140k's so you better put some rocks in your pockets!!

The good thing about living less than 400m from Karori Park is that I can pike at the last minute if the weather is looking too bad :p

I'm heading out to place some controls. If I never return, it was too foul to be out there ;)

PS: I think we've decided to can the crossing(s) of the summit. Still plenty of fun riding though :)

I actually just laughed at myself... It seems my first MTB ride since the single speed nats has me a little excited

Oh man - Makara Peak would be enough to get me to do MTBO!!! But it's too far to come :( (and about 30 degrees too cold)

I suggest riding a bike made from an old gate.

By doing that, you will be able to find the thing after you have blown been over the side and rescued much later :) :)
