How to loose weight:
Eat less crap food
Eat less food in general
Exercise until you are on the verge of collapse daily.

The theory as to why soup with the same caloric intake as solid food and a glass of water kept you fuller is that with the solid food and water the water drains out rapidly and your stomach shrinks accordingly telling your brain you are hungry. With soup the water doesn't drain straight out as it is mixed with food so your stomach stays expanded and doesn't send hungry thoughts to brain.

Good explanation.
It would depend on the soup of course. Some are like flavoured water and some are like the soup my mother used to make…basically chewing through moist vegetables :crazy:
