I've been away from Vorb for a long time, buried in work, but managed to look in today. I have something of a personal Woot to add:

1x has made life a lot easier for single pivots. Braking is still their nemesis.

Swimming in the sea. You can't beat Wellington on a good day.

Am I the only one who has no problem with high anti-rise? I reckon it feels crap if the damper is too slow, but otherwise I like how it keeps balance a bit more neutral or if a high pivot, sags slightly.

It's a trade-off of stability on smooth ground vs traction on rough ground. The choppier the terrain is the more you notice the difference in grip.

Yeah for sure, though I feel that it's always worth the trade-off. I feel like i'm always either managing speed with my rear brake and grip isn't a huge problem, or I'm braking heavily and I'm prepared to push in with my feet to get grip in the same way that i'd be leaning back to get grip with a low AR design.

With a linkage fork that doesn't rely on damping to prevent dive I'd be very quick to change my tune I think.

True, dat!
My 2 woots today are:
1) Daughter selected to ride for NZ at Hong Kong World Cup next week.
2) Heading across to Phnom Penh for a few days on Friday and going to drag a couple of film cameras out fo a run.

You're keen for a bit of spannering on the old man meat?

(I have no idea what this means but it sounds gross and dirty)
