Bummer. On the part of the track with the least loose surface.

I don't need farcebook in my life, it won't help her heal any faster.

I interacted with someone using my real name just so I could find out and update on here.

Ideologies of hatred that are used as an excuse to take innocent lives.

Car insurance in Canada :(

Unless you’ve got a totally clean drivers license (no claims or tickets) and your insurance company is willing to accept it you’re screwed.

We’re considered new drivers (the alternative having a couple of claims and tickets) and premiums for a 2019 and a 2012 are obscene.

Canadians don’t claim on anything because they’re so afraid of being cancelled or their premiums being raised.

Being too broken to ride, then getting a great day for it.

Hah, I'm exactly the opposite. Been broken for months, finally feel okay to ride so built up my big bike again in preparation to go ride for the first time today, rained all last night and it's still going.

I broke my elbow a couple of months back. The day after getting the cast off and the all clear to ride again from the doctor. I woke up with a stinking head cold.

Stink. Hopefully not as bad as the one I'm still getting over. Ended up getting a covid test, felt a lot worse than normal.

I did end up going for a ride on Friday. I'd had about 40 minutes of sleep the night before, following on from a bunch of of ~3h nights. Climbed up Vic park fine(...ish) but as soon as I pointed downhill I started hallucinating

Interesting, because is was the worst cold I've ever had. No fever, just a really nasty/lingering cold. Only just getting back to full lung capacity now.

Twelve weeks from operation this Friday, so bone should be strong enough to endure some off road action this weekend

What a bunch of old folks we are sounding. I prolapsed a disc (L3-4) in March (Mt Oxford is to blame) and finally had surgery on it a couple of weeks ago. Recovery is quite a bit slower than I'd imagined it would be, but it's getting there. I desperately just wanna jump on a bike and ride, but that has to wait. Even walking round the block is pushing it at the mo. Like wading thru treacle.

There may be a reason, I'll think of it in a minute.
