NZ Herald will be mightily pleased that such a wind-up article achieved its objective.

$71.19 per wing! For the last 100 or so that might not seem such a good deal.

In the papyrus Jakarta Post this morning, under the front-pager headline "Pilots' drug lifestyles worrying":
Following the arrest of a Lion Air pilot who failed a piss test for crystal meth 3 hours before flying, the National Narcotic Agency (BNN) Chief of Operations, Gen. Benny :eh: Mamoto "called on crew members who are addicted to drugs to voluntarily submit themselves to the BNN and ask for rehabilitation.
The BNN had previously revealed that pilots considered crystal meth as being part of their lifestyle".
I'm flying from Jakarta back to Singapore on Friday. I guess I should be wary of pilots holding crack pipes.

Only if in their own opinion they are addicted. Those are the ones the BNN is worried about.

At least the pilots won't be falling asleep in the cockpit.

loads of golden quotes, and that's before you get to the comments. But the comments look incredibly familiar:

Bob #214 10:23am

@ David #195

I'm sorry but the real issue is the other half of the idiot population. The ones who know that the speed limit is 100 but without any thought or consideration of others you and another plonker next to you will take up both lanes and travel at 80k with a huge amount of people behind you.

Steve #206 10:15am

I wouldn't mind the police getting strict on speeders if they also got strict on bad drivers. - The ones that jump red lights, indicate right at a roundabout when going straight on, driving through a no entry sign, not stopping at zebra crossings. I See all these everyday and never see the police because they are out on the highways catching people at 105kph.

Yeah pretty much.

But looking at the Nissan line-up, the only 4 door car thats a 'family' car is the Maxima, so I guess they will run a nissan v8 engine with maxima 'body'.

Remember its in the new COTF format, similar to the Nascar series. Not sure I like it, but good to see other manufacturers getting stuck in.

So a shell plonked on a standard chassis with the engine being the only 'real' difference between manufacturers?
