The narrows at the intersection of Port Hills Road and Tunnel Road as you head out of the City towards Heathcote scares me.

If you follow the signs and ride on the cyclepath, you're vulnerable to fast moving traffic turning left as you cross the slip road/on ramp, especially when the drivers don't indicate...

If you stay on the road, you invariably get squeezed up against the kerbs by the tailgaters and/or get verbals because there's a cyclepath but you've dared to ride on the road.

Definately one for the Counci plannersl to revisit.
