"horrific philosphies spawned by evolution"

uh, right. Because religion hasn't resulted in anything bad happening. Impeccable logic there.

re; Burden of proof My point it's been provided, these nutters have only got a book of fairy tales and mass delusion (a.k.a. belief) to point to as evidence. I think we're agreeing there (but I'm right and you're wrong if we're not in agreement - m'kay?).

This is pretty hilarious

If you are able to accept that we were created by a god how then do u explain the existence of the god in the first place..... It is a terrible chain of logic

a few mutant human skeletons doesnt prove anything, how could evolution work without the power of the almighty. faith is truth.

A few hundred million biochemical experiments, morphological investigations of millions of specimins* from across hundreds of millions of years of history and a fuckload of evidence collected in experiments on real live animals tends to prove quite a lot though.

Or another possibility is that God just did all that shit for fun.

I used the word truthiness in a lecture the other day, it's actually really useful.

another reason all the scientist's propose these ideas may be to protect the industry they work in, the same reason norton releases thousands of virus on the internet. darwinism protects these peoples jobs

Yes, yes - you're right! It's all a conspiratorial scheme to keep a small group of people in power and allow them to gain incredible wealth at the expense of the rest of us.

oh, hang on, I thought you were talking about organised religion. Sorry, as you were.

Always reminded of the Family Guy episdoe where Peter says "Of course I’m obligated by the state of Kansas to present the Church's alternative to the theory of evolution." and then a genie (ala I Dream of Jeannie) is shown coming from water and poofing into existance a rabbit, a dear, an owl, a bear, a dog, a man, a car, a gas pump, Jesus with a giant "USA #1" foam hand, and Santa Claus.
