 i haven't blinked quite that hard yet... but i can see it happening. master 10 (going on 16) is growing before our eyes. His face is lengthening, legs are a mile tall, and thickening up, and shoulders broadening. it's insane!

I think the same when I look out our little miss trouble. A few days shy of 10 months old now, where the hell did that time go?

Also, can't remember when I last posted on here re our rough start and her subsequent problems, but we've pretty much been given the all clear by all the specialists etc. She's still being monitored by the neurologist, but there are almost no concerns, and she's not being seen again for 6 months. Stoked!!!!!!

Yikes.

I'm still on the counting down phase, but have been seeing little kids in quite a different light knowing there's one imminent.

You will never see them in the same light again!
And (assuming this is your first) if you're anything like me, you'll swiftly realise how much of a cock you sounded when commenting to people with kids, about kids before you had one. :D

Yeah, but with more conviction. Experience brings it out.

Sweet, look forward to that.

Having experience on your side is super handy when being a judgey dickhead, I like it!

Oh I already am, don't you worry about that!

Stroller envy is something I never knew existed either. Took the family into Newmarket the other week, so many high maintenance mums pushing strollers worth more than my car! It was hilarious to see the looks of disgust we got as we pushed our girl along Broadway in a huge old faded mountain buggy that had more mud on it than most of their 4WDs. :satan:

To be fair we did the bugaboo thing with our first and its lasted till our third and would get another. It's visited 10 countries been tossed about by bagage handlers everywhere. We bought a good old nZ Phil and Teds and it was a pos and sits depreciating in the garage hardly ever used. never thought I'd buy into the expensive stroller thing but it turned out being good value.

I reckon fathers should get a handicap based on your number of kids and their ages.

Married men should get a smaller one.

How can I compete with dudes who get sleep, have time to train and have disposable income for fancy bikes with fancy drive trains?
