God it'd be good to beat them again with him as captain.

Man I haven't watched any Cricket in years, not since it was on free to air TV. Stupid only being on sky these days. Maybe I should go watch the next international that's at the basin...

Lame. Just realised that the ODI's and Twenty20 games are at Westpac Stadium. Lame. Would be better if they are at the basin...then I could walk there in 5 minutes...

Agreed.

In my veiw Ponting has been an average captain with a good team. Now without true top class players (McGrath, Warne, Gilchrist, Hayden) to turn to when things aren't going well he struggles.
He cracks under pressue and tends to be reactive rather than proactive.
Also witness his little tanties when things dont go his way,

Yep. Aussie is seriously lacking in experience and skillz at the moment. Apart from Michael Clark and Ponting himself they've got no top class players. NZ's lacking in experience as well though, but they're making up for it with clever captaincy and great teamwork.

Also Sydney is a great pitch for spinnzingz... NZ has the current top-ranked ODI bowler, who happens to be a spinner. Hopefully NZ bowls first and they can choke the pricks yet again :)

Also, lol
9.6 Hilfenhaus to Elliott, 3 runs, finds the gap this time, short of a good length outside off, creamed through the covers for three runs
