If the game does start at 12.30, it'll then be a five-over fixture. The purists will be outraged.

:D

That'd be good fun... Five overs of mayhem. Could five over games be the next big thing? :)

Who'd have thought an NZ vs Scotland game could be that exciting

Loved that Jesse Ryder bit where he swatted 4 boundaries in a row  Also loved the line from the commentator when that poor Scot dropped a skied one and then kicked it over the boundary "Ooohhh and 'es 'oofed it fer four!!!!!"

Nice work by the Scots though. They batted really, really well. I think they would have beat many of the top teams - it's only NZ's ridiculous hitting skillz that got them through.

Yeah, that was fun to watch. Every ball was crucial.

In other related news - Chris Gayle beats Australia. Brett lee smashed for 51 of his first 3 overs, mostly by Gayle.

Some interesting stuff going on at the moment.

Australia thwarted by England's tail end. Ponting throws another tantie.

Bangladesh beat the West Indies. Effectively a West Indies second 11 but you can only beat the team you're put against.

Pakistan getting out of the poo erasing a 160 run first innings deficit after making only 90 in the first innings.
