Agreed, but ......fuck fuck fuck, 33 from 36 to win the series, Guptill playing a blinder, Ricky Ponting losing his rag, bastard rain

hell yea, too wet, but we were dropping faster than a hooker in the river. We might have made it, but I doubted it once we'd lost the 5th, and at 6 down, we were unlikely to get the 27ish we needed. Maybe... but based on the history of NZ, probably not.

We were going alright with diamanti in to support Guptill. And with vettori and Southee left as well, i reckon we definately would've got it, Considering we had a powerplay as well.

Yeah. At least that psycho douchebag isn't our Captain. Vettori is a much nicer, calmer fellow.

I'm glad Diamanti gets to stay as cover for Mills. He did great yesterday.

if we play the twenty20 like last night, we may be in with a chance, but we haven't had much luck in the 20-overs version of late have we? Following our boys in the cricket is likeing riding a roller coaster - massive highs, extreeme lows, and plenty of unexpected turns along the way. I still don't understand why they can play so damned well one day, and so poorly the next, when it's the same team and same opposition and sometimes the same ground. Sigh, like loving a hooker even after you throw her in the Avon.

I'd quite like to see Ian Butler back in, He can hit the ball. And bowl. And Nathan McCullum. If they've been flown over just so they don't get to play for Otago and don't get to play in the NZ 11, then i'll be pretty annoyed.

I reckon Nathan McCullum deserves a go at ODI's. He kept his shit together really well in the T20 games. Possibly a better choice than Oram :paranoid:

Nah they just need to come out fired up. And they need to let Jesse bowl - He'll get 5 wickets, at least! And he'll bowl while eating a burger - just to make it interesting.
