Wish I was watching todays game in a pub
Sounds 'evenly balanced' at the moment.
Oram was economical in his first 7 overs. Southee less so
Ponting just cruising

Surprised they aren't playing both McCullums, what with Vettori not playing... :eh:
Looks about even at this point. But NZ have knocked the top off the Aussies, and I reckon they're a bit vunerable lower down :)

Bond to Hussey, 1 run, Hussey works it into mid wicket where Oram moves in from mid on to collect and he seems to place his left foot awkwardly and twists his left knee and he goes down in a real heap! He is in a lot of pain and it being carried off by his teammates. Let's hope that not the last we see of the big man. Just an awkward landing there it seems and he may well have done some ligament damage

GODDAMN IT ORAM.

Best bit of that was the guy in the white board in the crowd with 'harden up Oram ya pussy'

Nice sportsmanship there from Taylor. Filthy Aussies (Symonds) have claimed blatantly grounded catches in recent times... Reckon if Taylor had celebrated about that catch then the umpires would have given it out.

I reckon the cricinfo commentary is a biased Aussie, celebrating every minor good shot but not commenting on the awesome tight bowling or fast fielding

Must have been a quiet ten or so overs on cricinfo then :0

Nice control from Southee again. Too bad about that there boundary at the end of the over :(

11 runs of an over of yorkers? Doesn't read like much control on cricinfo

None of the Aussie quicks has the control of Bond though. They bowl fast, but inaccurate, and have shit slower balls.
