Broom and Elliot together again.

I haven't been watching telly - is McCullum injured, or are they holding him back till the business end of the innings?

McCullum got owned from a rouge ball that hit a crack in the pitch and bounced like a midget on a trampoline. but anyway we are in the crap :( , between the fulton/Elliot partnership we lost a lot of overs without gaining a lot of runs . Elliot got another 50!!!!! . atm 3/128 Elliot 50, broom 9,

last 5 overs rr was 6.8 but 4.7 overall with a required of 7.8 to win is not lookin so hot. but then was it last year we chased them down from well over 300?

It's possible to double your score from the 30 over mark when there's wickets in hand. So they've got a sniff for sure, but 300 is always a hard target.

Did McCullum have to go off the field earlier? I'm hoping they were just planning on using him to put the hurt on at the end of the innings :(

No I dont think he left the field, but he was in a lot of pain, I think they dropped him down the order to give him a chance to rest.
