that was the year 11 school kids that chose that icecream (kids choice category), not the Judges.

As for the Goody Goody Gum Drops. The ice cream is judged on many things including texture, melt, amount of flavour, creaminess, mouthfeel etc. It is not a "what is the most popular flavour" contest... it is a who has made the best ice cream competition.

Just got back from the Ice cream conference and I am still hung over from the ice cream awards last night...

What flavour you like or dislike is personal preference, but as I said above the ice creams are judged on how good an ice cream it is rather than what the judges personal preferences are.

Hi Pat

I was very interested with the flavour of "Creamy Chocolate & Raspberry with a Hit of Chilli" was announced as a winner in the Creative Division of the New Zealand Ice Cream Awards. I have since been made aware that this flavour does not exist as a commercial product but if Tip Top receives enough interest it may be brought into product.

If this flavour came into commercial production I would be lining up to buy some, please add my e-mail to the pile
