Thought I would resurrect this instead of making a new one..

I"ll be doing the 12hr Solo, but with a 12 hr team as my 'support' crew (not really, they are just racing too so using them as my base!)

What are the camping facilities like at this place? I've not done this event before and me and the team are keen to camp..

It's a paddock.

And the race winds its way through that paddock.

Yeah, camping is fine. You have to stay within your allotted site (or clear out before your neighbours arrive). There's a toilet block and some portaloos. There's even a hot pool somewhere around there.

It's BYO everything apart from portaloos. Hot pools are about 10 min walk after a 12 hr ride so 5mins away for team members. It's a great event I really enjoyed it last year and will do it again this year even thro I have not done any riding for ages.

I just entered the 6 hour event. I haven't done more than a couple of hours on the bike in any one stint all winter. This should be a good spring clean to blow out the cobwebs.
