I'd suggest you probably want a properly-qualified engineer to advise you, as otherwise if anything goes wrong you won't get a pleasant response from your insurance company. The engineer will want to charge you for the advice, unless they are stupid, because if they don't then they won't be covered by their professional indemnity policy with their own insurance provider.

Dammit, sound and sensible advice... it was interesting to hear all the home engineer ideas though.

Nah use the repair tool and make sure you have some small stones in your inventory and it'll be good as new after a few waps.
