That's the one :) Pretty graceful as errors on the dirt go. I remember watching for a while there in 06 and lots of people had close calls and a couple of nastier ones. I was at least able to sympathise!

There's a couple of me :) Can you flick 'em through? lisa@vorb.org.nz

come on slim - it's not THAT bad!!! I reckon you and Shailer should enter next year ;)

Exactly. If Danose can ride it... it aint that bad!!

I didn't even crash on the log drop! Though I did get close

Yeah id have to say that is proberly a real good specator or marshell point, i had a few stomach in my mouth experiences there. But my biggest one was on the first lap going down into the creek at the bottom of slim line, back wheel went up and trying to wipe speed of for that section with only your front wheel on the ground i thought id have to spend the rest of the race in dirty shorts.

Heh heh. I saw that- you made quite an alarmed sort of noise! :D

Mind you, big ups, I couldn't ride that track with only half a fork.. :p

Oh and what brand of bike was the winner of Pro Elite riding??[/quote]

Unless he's changed in last month....That would be a Trek hardtail under Mr Drower, the man who dominated both Coronet and Waipara, would it not?

actually award for 'Mr Smooth' has to be the dude on the orange specialized (think it was Niall Davis who got 3rd) who was nose wheelieing down the second part of the s-bend. Trully great skills (then again, with that surname he'd have to be special!)

Right you are. I stand corrected. Just saw what looks to be Mr Drower in the galleries on what definately looks like a Yeti. I imagine he will be rather quick on a fully!

yes I'm famous!!! I had a few hairy moments during the race. progressivly rode like a nana as the race went on, cos I was getting so tired and really worried about hitting a tree with my broken collar bone. did a massive front wheel manule after one of the tiny drops and had a crash on the same corner which took me out 2 years ago. luckily I clipped the tree with the good shoulder.good thing I clipped the tree with my good shoulder, otherwise I would've been in tears
