That to me describes what a national level MTB event should be

everytime I hit that section I was asking myself whether the 200g weight saving was worth ditching the gravities for roll-x's

then I'd get on the climbs and know the answer was 'yes'

I'd die on 3 laps of that!! I've seen people alot fitter than me get more than ruined by that course.

That said, Fresh without doing any track work or marshalling beforehand it might be a different story.

Yeah id have to say that is proberly a real good specator or marshell point, i had a few stomach in my mouth experiences there. But my biggest one was on the first lap going down into the creek at the bottom of slim line, back wheel went up and trying to wipe speed of for that section with only your front wheel on the ground i thought id have to spend the rest of the race in dirty shorts.

Yes.

Front tire blew out just before the Left Hander by the big rock on the right.

Michelle and I heard the tire blow at the log drop...

I spell it out a little more......

Zane, Dougal and guy with dislocated shoulder = turner

Me, Dayle (winner of SI cup, and fastest lap) CD and Scott = Yeti

I would have had to add percy in there, but he never turns up so it hard to tell if he actually rides his.

So really it isn't the bike that holding me back, it's the booze and pies!!

Yeh, some guy blew a tyre/smashed a rim above us at Boars nest. Sounded a bit like a shotgun!

He was totally fine, but the bike was not! :0
