Here is the result file (excel) we have put up on our site - all the categories on the one file. Mark Williams or Oliver Whalley's times need fixing up as Mark finished in front.

presuming it'll be back to just a club/local race, then you could just have 2 categories

enduro 7 laps
sport 4 laps

and then just start the enduro riders an hour before everyone else (say 10am for enduro, 11am for sport)

would also mean race day wouldn't be quite so long for you guys (since racing would all be over before 2pm!)

doing that would require installing a conveyer belt from the log drop up to a heli pad :satan:

Wow Anton Coopers lap times are scary. If he could keep that pace up he would have ended up mid pack in Elite men. Not bad for a 13(?) year old!

That wee dude is a freakin' ripper!

Looks hilarious screaming down the singletrack on a bike twice the size he is though! :D

Just wanted to share this email we received with you, as we thought it summed up the Open Day and what we wanted to acheive nicely.

"I just thought that I would say a quick thank you very much for the open day a the vulcaniser. That is the most punishing, fun and entertaining track that I have been on. It showed me my lack of fitness in a very short period. I really appreciated the open day, as going on that track for a race would be even harder and possibly beyond me. So the open day was the perfect way to have a blast in a not too serious way. Thank you very much, and I hope that we can have some more days at that wonderful wonderful track. "

Did any vorbers come out to the Open Day that wouldn't have considered racing?

There is no way I'd race that course and part of it is named after me!!

Watch out for some mods on the slimline for next year, I am going to go on a berm building spree some time over winter!!

mmmm bigger berms would be all good. Definitely need some rain as that dust would be rather hard to make stay in a berm shape!!

There were 106 people who came and rode at the Open Day, plus some of the marshals rode around for some laps. There were also heaps of Sunday racers there on Saturday getting in some practice, so all in all a really good turnout.
