I was trolling thru the archives last night... still cant find the results that match with that photo... but I found the previous years ones! 1992... that photo must be from the 1991 race. I also found proof that as a junior, Ricky smacked Hiskey, and Dave Hicks spanked Kashi!! Will post the short course results from 1992 on here after I scan them.

in 1992 there were 21.

I remember those days. You were in vets even then

I can remember hanging out to be a vet... and then, the year I turned 35, the mofos at the UCI opened vets up to 30!!!
I was gutted. We went to the Oz words and got spanked by all these young aussie vets who hadnt started shaving yet....
Those were the days... Separating the age group from the Elite worlds killed the World Champs. Look at how successfull the tri-worlds are : (

Jeff - have you got the times for the subsequent year's race when it was split in two? A hill climb up the Tip Track - a lunch break - and then a downhill to Red Rocks. There were impressive split times for both as I recall.

Well done to the riders and runners that braved the cold.

Managed to get this badly exposed picture of Number 43, who was 2nd through the gates at the windmill, before camera failed.

i have got word that thingone won the roadie section! nice work

He was impressive and flew through the windmill car park. One of the few rides that didn't slow to catch their breath.

Awesome result Clive... that hard man session up there two weeks ago in atrocious weather must have made it seem easier today!!

Don't forget the running section boys, your very own Biteme/Tiger BL took it out. Yay I CAN still run. Unfortunately not fast enough to hold Ed Crossling off with 100m to go.
