Sounds like the first year it was run - frikking cold and zero visibility at the top!

STRONG WIND WARNING WELLINGTON AND MARLBOROUGH SOUNDS : Southerlies are expected to rise to severe gale gusts 120 km/h at times in exposed areas of Wellington from about 11am Saturday and in the Sounds from about 5pm Saturday. Winds should ease from about 10am Sunday.

While the weather might make it a little unpredictable I'll still head out for a skid. I haven't really ridden at all over the last 2 weeks (since getting knocked off the road bike) but it'll be fun to ride up the hill with some company for a change

I've been on holiday and haven't touched a bike for 2 weeks. The weather sealed the deal... I'm not putting myself through that.

THE HILLCLIMB HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO DANGEROUS HIGH WINDS AND NASTY WEATHER.
