By way of a follow-up:

The pedals still have not been found :(

The rear brake issues were mainly caused through needing a bleed after the bike was spending so much time on it's side in the boot of the car etc. Plus the routed pads.

The rear tyre bead has now rusted through - I guess I may have damaged the bead during one of the puncture repairs and all the river crossings did the rest.

Two last pictures I've found, that I like:

brilliant effort Graeme. Let's hope it starts a new trend, and we get lots of these to read in the future.

Yes, I am tempted to completely pull the pin on secondment now just so I can start planning. Although, the ute may fall through. Replacement I hear you ask. A campervan, a trailer and a car and more people!

Any Vorbers on XC missions (no stinky freeriders :D ) are welcome to PM me for a night or two free accommodation. Mt Grey, the Blowhard track & the Wharfedale tracks are nice and close. :)
