It's called a rocking chair. What you do is, you put it on your front porch and rock back and forth shaking your fist at the world!

Needs moar shotgun, and bourbon...

and a banjo, how dare you forget a banjo :butbut:

Get some snow tyres for your surf, trademe is usually overflowing with ones which come in on used Jap imports going real cheap. They make driving on snow feel like driving on sand and make ice feel like just normal wet tarmac.

Then take the kids for drive up a hill, throw them out in a pile of snow and tell them to build a snow-man. :sneaky: It's great fun for the entire family.

Here's a tyre set example. But they get much cheaper in the off-season: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-par ... 671077.htm

Got thrown out of my home town for having too many teeth and not enough fingers. :(

Cheers for the ear-worm :). It took two full High on Fire albums to vanquish that :

1. I live on a massive hill in Dunedin. The founding fathers in all of their wisdom showed scant regard for topography and simply superimposed a street map of Edinburgh on top of it. Smart. Fortunately I have a Hilux, unfortunately that means even if I take the risk of using it for its intended purpose, if I have a bingle I will end up as one of those ignorant 4WD owners who thought he was better than the non 4WD'ers on this news. Fuck that.

2. Snow costs more. Energy costs lots, Dad used to roar at me for leaving the doors open on a cold day and leaving the lights on when I wasn't in the room. I get that now.

3. Looking after the kids. I pay lots to send my kids to daycare so I can work. When it snows, I can't.

I'm sure there's more but I'm too busy looking angrily out the window and shaking my fist at the white stuff that is falling...

Meanwhile, Scotty's friends (some of which have kids) run into each other while having fun in the snow up a mountain. :)

Yeah I'm fairly certain not many people would be starving, impoverished Africans if it was an option.

The question wasn't about starving. The question was about playing in the snow.

Kilimanjaro is in Africa right? It's got snow.
