Hmmmmmm, makes you wonder where all that ACC money I have been taxed over the years has gone :eh: . Guess I better draw some out while its still an option ;)
Although being on ACC does suck, its not like you are in 100% health when your on it :(

You did, originally my plan was for a short ride in the morning so I could take photos in the afternoon - but as you can see that blew out a bit :)

Damn, please accept my apologies for not saying hello. I only had pics from Vorb to go by and wasn't entirely sure it was you  .

I tip my hat to you - I only wish I'd had the nous to realize what was going on and get myself sorted right after the crash.

Now... where to ride next?

Thanks Tama  :)

Thanks for sharing your road to recovery, or should that be singletrack to recovery. Great stuff. Really enjoyed seeing 'muntfest' and 'billy-oh' thrown in there too. Happy peddlin.'

Thanks Rebecca, singletrack makes me smile. Though I have to admit I popped a 25mg Voltaren before the ride to stop my upper back from locking.

Trying to keep up with Tony (the guy who came through just before me) was hard work - he had a lightweight XC whippet bike and had posted a muddy 3:35 at the Karapoti. I'm looking forward to spectating at the upcoming Living Springs races - that's one helluva course.

In my last physio we identified that my neck is almost back to normal mobility but the muscles across my upper back are pretty tight and need to be bashed into submission. I've taken to quite a bit of Swiss Ball work and got a couple of 2kg weights to try and get strength across my shoulders.

Oh to be young and elastic again

I can only guess so - he'd driven over.
