if theres no sign of a frame in time for the race, a sprung tensioner will go on in place of the RD and some 3/32 bmx chain to help avoid derailments.

will that appease the style police?

My mouth is full and I am having difficulty masticating.

For some reason I'm reading though the NZ BMX rule book and seen this:
1.023 Starting Blocks
Riders 6 years of age and under may use a block or footrest, or place the
block under the back pedal. The block must be no higher than 76mm
above the lower pedal when in a perpendicular position. The top surface
of the block must be parallel to the surface of the starting platform. No
other rider may use any form of assistance to aid their start.

from 01.10.g

That is awesome. THANKS!

No trouble dude.

That doesn't help you ride the SSWC though does it.

By this time next week I will have had 2 days riding in vegas & enjoying the festivities around the SS champs -WooHoo, Cannot wait.
Will have to pay attention to pre SS champ race riding. Dont want a repeat of the nzss champs this year in queenstown. My mate broke his arm on the friday the day before the race this year. Spent his race day getting xrays and cast on. :(

Anyway - for the registrations, do the party animals have to register too? Bringing some non race participants this time and trying to figure out what they need to do.

Party Animals do need to register, though if you haven't got a ticket now it's too late.
ALL entries closed on Sept 30.

Cheers - Already paid etc for the party animals, just wasnt sure if they had to ado anything else. I assume the ticket is in the confirmation email they got.
For race registration, do we need to bring anything or do we just turn up and say who we are?

Doh - just had a look on the official website. Should have done that earlier. Says party animals must register, so that answers my question.

Late entries from a couple of roadies... http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/garmin- ... eed-worlds

I love the people's champion's attitude! "He’s promising to ride a massive gear and try and make a break on the other contenders at the start".

Whos re thinking their gear ratio after seeing the course?
That first climb is going to be interesting with 900 odd riders.
