So they're alright? I thought they might still need a proper bleed after shortening the hoses...

Aww sifter. :(
Massive hugs dude. The mental battle is the toughest of them all.
Some things that I've discovered which may be relevant.
- Lack of sleep makes me crazy.
- It takes me a few weeks to recover from a decent flight.
- The goals of others are not enough; especially when the goal "to be happy" seems to be the toughest of em all.
- Glenmore St sucks arse. Its on my normal commute now... and I'd really rather go up Aro Valley. Or via Wadestown. How can such an innocuous sloped bit of tarmac derive so much sadistic pleasure out of torturing me.

Anyways, I'm just up the street if you need anything.
And I'll let Liam's tyres down in the middle of the night if it helps.
:)

On the contrary! Wish him all the very best.

Thanks for your kind words Jo, and others.

While I hate having to clarify (the lecturer in me realises I screwed up my initial explanation), a shit ride is merely one I do not enjoy. Riding hard is merely one way I enjoy riding, but not the be all and end all. I really should find more time to get out and sift on the bike though... It only takes 5 minutes to know you made the right choice by getting out, innit?

Cheers y'all.

After a wee bit of trackbuilding late last night, the mood's definitely improved. Also was great to have a chat to Paul Kennett (the Godfather in my mind) this afternoon about the work they're doing at the mo...

Cheers to Dave Sharpe for lending me a sweet Bontrager XDX front tyre which was a piece of cake to install, and hooked up nicely out at wainui this evening. Simon and I ducked out there for a quick (as in duration) tootle around. I think we rode the wetland loop, jungle jim, down beeline (I had to walk a couple of bits, but not nearly as much as I would have without Dave's advice, and tyre) and then up the sweetest climb I've done in aaaaages. Didn't see a name, but it had some cool wiggles in it. Came back down the same way, and it was pitch black by the time we drove along Petone. Should've had my lights and we could've kept playing.

Saw this mad woman out there with a dog, who said something like "rong whey" and "just wait til I tell t-bag on you..." - couldn't quite catch it...
