sifter went biking!

Plenty of words, and a few pretty pics. Gravel road enthusiasts should have the Old Motu Coach Road on their lists... Great ride thanks Kennett Bros!

Yep - I reckon there would have been a very good chance of something going wrong. The last thing I need two weeks out from the Ak Attack and three from the Brevet is a crash or to get sick...

including the most awesome bush-shit I've ever done

I was a little worried when I read that bit and saw the top of a photograph that appeared to feature undergrowthish vegetation lurking just below...

Likewise. It's always a relief to find out that people on here aren't just in my imagination.

Good work! The next time I see the 'black dog' when I'm out riding I might just try your 'take 2 bush-shits' therapy. I reckon you could be on to something there. Looking forward to the next update.

Another belated update... Karapoti Original - if you're not going to smash your PB this Karapoti, I'd seriously consider doing the original on the Sunday and saving $35! In fact, that's exactly what I'm doing...

Excellent read.

Must pick up a map and check out the tracks that I have and (especially) haven't ridden.

The by-pass between the 1st and 2nd Sister is a keeper I reckon. So fast when the track isn't quite so slippy.

But then I like the true Three Sisters too.
