That's what the guy I'm buying it off ran on it.

The first generation one I had was friggin' awesome, heavy, but awesome. Ran it in so many different configurations. Most fun was a set of sherman dual crowns with 24 inch doublewides and gazzas.

Indeed. I had a similar thought when I was thinking about the spec of my old downhill bike.

Wow, the grom - speak is strong in that thread.
"not a stealth" is an excellent qualifier, they were less than stellar.

Hey slacker fiends, is anyone looking for a set of reproduction stickers? I have ended up with a spare set with a frame that I have bought, but I'm not planning to repaint this one

Yes I know I have another frame in my collection, it's a burgundy one, to contrast with the black one I have built up.

Just out of interest, where did you get them made?
I recall someone on here (Ant rings a bell?) used to do custom vinyl cutting?

I didnt have these ones made, they look to be the ones that nzo had printed on vinyl by a rotorua sign writer. Yup I think it was Ants on here who had access to a vinyl cutter, now most decent sign writer have a machine that prints multiple colours onto a single layer of vinyl.

If you need some stuff done I know a couple of sign writers up here, but most towns/cities will have a sign writer or 2 who is happy doing small one off jobs without rolling people on price

Go on, do it!

I would talk to Tim at T White's bikes in Auckland, he might already have the decals /transfers you need. There is a strong bmx retro community out there if you go looking

Is it an hmx?
