I was there, circulating very slowly, odds on you passed me, was in my factory style Wide Open Kit, on my non painted Turner Spot

yup planning on doing Waka (day-nighter was a planned part of the build -up) I have some unfinished business with the Waka 100, since I cooked myself up direct road on the first one and ended up DFL (i havn't ridden full distance since then)

Cool - emailed Gaz last week and he was really helpful, but thought he may only be able to get vinyls made.
Hopefully will see you at the Whaka but I will only be doing 50km - be my first race as a veteran lol

Dunno about paint, but I got mine powdercoated at ESL industries in Miramar. They stripped it too. I can't remember how much it cost but it wasn't anything excessive.

yup

, just had a fresh service, new bushes, seals and oil, running sweet again, although I think that they will end up back on the Mob again (I want some 44 switches for the slacker )

I've got one of the marzocchi mudguards now for them too (made by Acerbis, who make moto plastics) :blush:

they went pretty good on the trailstar mk1 - so should be pretty good on the slacker

One of the few bikes I would want back again was that old trailstar. Or perhaps a slacker. Just no money or time right now.
