A few changes lately, XT cranks now instead of the Saints, with 2 chainrings, still waiting on the 36/24t blackspire rings to show, but have it setup using an old 22/32 combo, plus I fitted a MTB cassette instead of the roadie one I had on there. Climbing not so much of a chore now...

Shocker!
You're right, just went and looked at it in the garage and its not set-up right at all. I got the LRP off the good folk at Wideopen, but had the BB in and out a couple of times getting the spacing set up right, obviously didnt readjust it back up to the chainstay when I did the final tighten. Doh!

Its worked faultless so far (had it on there for close to a year. Gets to creaking after a bit though because I have to use a shim, but I take it all out, clean and regrease it and its ok for a while. If you do get one, go the extra mile and get the remote.
I dont use it to go up or down mid-trail, but its handy for when smashing down the rough stuff.

I am entertaining serious thoughts about taking to mine with the cut-off wheel and making a copy of this thing....

Yeah its been on there for ages, and not getting much cheaper. The only thing of interest to me on that bike is the frame, and I hate the colour and stickers anyway, so to me its worth about $50.
