No the XPGs are the business at the moment. 50% brighter than the rebel at 700mA and you can push them to 1.5A (around 1400lm from the triple).

Would my little buckpuck drive them? Can't remember of hand what model it is but it is one of the 1 Amp jobbies. Or do you need a special cree driver?

Yeah they are much the same as the rebels drive wise, just brighter.

I have 1200 Lumen (5 x cree chips) entire setups for sale, these are designed as a drop in replacement for a maglight etc so come with heatsink, driver etc all ready to go and will run 6-27 volts

If you think you need anymore light than these babies there is something wrong

$20 + Post each to happy light builders

Though why are you saying they drop into a maglight, when the Kai website says they don't?
