Perhaps if you had a fattie or woodie bike the wife's rack would have clamped it?

Wonder how it will go head to head with the next ranger, I'm still 40,000 away from test driving again :-(

How has your current one gone? I hear a lot of whingers... but hey, it's the internet...

It's been mint, 80k in it so far. Far better than the previous model ranger and the STX I had before it.

probably the only thing I'd bitch about is the traction control that seems to have a mind of it's own and will randomly mid corner try to straighten you up and you can't drive it in 2wd on gravel. It's probably a good safety feature, I am so shit scared of it coming on that I don't push it in the corners and slot it in H4 for anything gravel.

Okay, so that's something that hasn't changed in the generations between my surf and your truck.

why would you stick it up in the sky? (unless you are going to go further than across the gutter)
Then you would stick some proper wheels and tyres on it.....

Needs 20" chrome wheels also

Just me or have they removed the manliness/ made commercials less utilitarian. Noticed the current trend for anything van or ute like to look like a car.

Safety regulations mean they have to, or all pedestrians will die!! Even teh ones who don't walk out in front of it...
Also making them safe to crash into one another, means they end up looking like a car, cos they're built like one.

I know still sucks however.
I've been toying with the idea of a double cab ute over a van, but unsure if I could get 4 bikes in the tray with a canopy removing front wheels with fork in mounts.
Most of this is due to not finding a van that will fit my needs without spending $30k  :(
