It would be cool to put that V6 manual in something more sporty ;)

nah if you're going to transplant a nissan 6, may as well do it properly and transplant an RB (preferably an RB26DETT)

My dad used to run a Skyline Gt-St with an RB26 in it. Swapped out the auto for a manual and left some thing with the auto in the car hooked up to the turbo timer, so that when you used just half throttle the the turbo would just sit idle, but when you put it down it went full boost. Needless to say when he sold it, it was written off the next day when they new owner floored it out of a corner in town right into a lamp post sideways.

if it had an RB26 in it, it was a GTR, ;) (or had had an engine swap) GTS-T's came with RB20 (R32) or RB25 (R33/4)

but yes no suprise it got written off doing a siqq drft

Did a lot of work on it, so probably an engine swap. Baby-godzilla I think they were called, even had rear wheel steering. Took corners like it was on rails

GTST was hicas as well... as were some of the optioned up GTS models.

Wuffy's random "turbo timer"/auto arrangement sounds like some patu antilag system. Either that or he's full of shit.

I don't understand what he did exactly, as I was only about 8-9 at the time. But it was something to do with the auto transmission.

3.0l v6 has more than power than 4.2 turbo diesel Nissan Safari's, but yeah Rb won't fit cause its not long enough, may look at a 350 chev or i've heard Nissan Vh45 bolt's in. My friends still are surprised at how it gets up and goes with a full load.

Whatever the set up was it sounds very dangerous and not WOF able :hmmm: If I was the buyer and hadn’t wanted to rark it up/drift it I’d be asking for my money back (having not been told about it)
