It was during the big gear race. (well the middle chainring race *and 11 tooth*, cos the course was a bit to nasty for big ring and 11). Conners won teh granny gear race.
It was a lactic fest, but I believe the only hurling was done by chris, and it wasn't lactic related.

Don't quite know what happened during the granny gear race, but I'll take it! I still can't work out if it actually makes me good at something or not (other than looking stupid on a bike... )

Yeah that was Chris - I never actually saw him huck over it, but he claims he was doing it on most laps!

Yep - he was great to watch. Started OTA for a few laps then started to pull back and every now and then from over at the start line we would see him flying through the air!

I really was quite a sight to behold. I think luckily for him rowang's flash didn't actually go off when peak flow was reached... If it did though I will be sure to change the wallpaper on his work PC for him!

He recovered well though, we were sifting around Makara til about 3 oclock - and then refuelled on a good feed of fish n chips. A perfect day really!!!
