It all looked like a lactic hurlfest, but the best bit for me was Slackboy's kind attempt to duplicate his infamous botty-grind during the granny-gear race. I can't believe he still won after that!

Well done Lisa and crew - that was a very cool event.

for everyone's viewing pleasure (or is that pain)

and ditto, how your weren't having a wee yunder in the bushes (and still pull off the win) after that, I do not know

who was the guy who went out too hard in B grade then blew up completly about half way through? felt for him.. he looked like his legs had decided to strike after looking good for 4 minutes!
That would be my flatmate Dave (spacemonkey of old), I told him he had to race in B. Only problem is he hadn't been riding much in the last few months at all. He'll be racing C in teh next ones I think

That was Cam Wood - or 'new guy'. He's new in town and the good lad joined the club on the day

Oh, I thought we were referring to Cam who took the lead for a few laps then went backwards. But yes, Dave blew pretty spectacularly as well :p

I almost felt guilty when people came across the line looking at me with begging eyes to call that they had been lapped (almost...)

Any chance someone could hook me up with a ride out to round 2? I live in Kelburn and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is the kids race definitely on?.. Alex is dead keen (5 yr old), He really really wants a number on his bike though. :)

It's dependant on numbers but we can definitely do it on the day if we get enough. Probably want to have at least 4, boys and girls together for a lap or 2 depending on ages and stuff. Would be great if we do get enough and they will definitely get race numbers :) Every kid will get a Vorb sticker next couple of rounds too

I didn't realise you moved to Karori

No Shane, you can't enter kiddies grade :p

We have the novice/junior grade as well which I think would be suitable for 12 and up (assuming no burglars) so I guess up to 11. Again comes down to numbers on the day because we wouldn't want a 5 year old racing an 11 year old (that could be demoralising for the 11 year old...). If numbers support 2 kids grades we can do them at a lap each.
