And I will probably stick to riding mid-week rather than going out there with the Motor Bike crowd. And there is no way I am heading out there on a Public Holiday again, Waitangi Day last year was just un fking believable on dopers with all the 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers and 2 wheelers driven by absolute muppets for the most part.

Still all that CO might be good for the training, kind of like high altitude training I guess, pity about the brain cells.

Ben i will be up for joining you for a early AM sat ride or mid week at a hard pace, let me know when you are planning to ride ;)

Excellent, will do.

I'd be keen too if you don't mind a ss'er tagging along (and if I'm in town)

Looking for a mid 90's steel frame. Something with a bit of class like a kona explosif, bontrager etc. Got most of the parts to hang on it (some Kona P2's, WI cranks, some avids etc)

Anything quicker than last year's 3.17 is acceptable, but it'd be plain wrong if I didn't go hunting for a sub-3. 2:54:59 would be a dream (some of you will be able to work out why).

i was disappointed with my 2:57 last year (mechnical), this year i am targetting sub 2:40

feeling on track.. but a tip track session next week should give me a bit more of a guide as to how i am placed.
