Someone forgot to tell Palmy. A plentiful bounty of Jesuses and even some Mohammedses and other deities bless our heathen hearts.

Mohammed wasn't a deity, so the presence of one or more in PN is no more odd than the presence of any other human, which is odd enough in itself.

Most of the world's population have their own macrofauna too. I don't care to join them.

It seems incredibly unlikely.

I think the model of religiosity mentioned in the article might share a category with the "assume a spherical cow..." model of dairy farming.

It seems highly unlikely that religon would become extinct in those nations. For one it's a very assumptive study with the model being based on very specific things working out it seems.

In my eyes religion is primarily the answer to questions that can't be answered and its for people who can't handle there being no answer. So long as people need something or someone to believe in, organized religion will have to exist in some form or another.

Who is responsible for the earthquakes?

Who sprinkled the stars across the sky?

Where does that other sock go to?

I have that answer

Everyone mistakenly assumes washing machines/dryers run on electricity as they plug into the wall socket when in fact they run on socks, the electricity bit is just clever scam by the power companies
