SUB (Sarah Ulmer Brand) is a new brand for 2006, supported and distributed by the Avanti Bicycle Co. SUB has basically replaced all of Avanti's women's specific bikes. Designed by Sarah Ulmer, world individual pursuit champion, they are spec'd by and for women and this results in bikes that fits and suits women like no other range.

Most women are more interested in performance than labels on their parts, plus if they stick with ultegra they can buy more jewellery and makeup :lol:

I know plenty of women who are interested in labels!
Just watching the female reps at work fussing over some Trelise Cooper outfit is proof of this

Sarah Ulmer rode to the top level and used Durace.
But her signature bikes don't.
It's a shame.

Clothes are different, bike bits they can't see the point, other girls aren't impressed by durace, but they are if you have a designer handbag :sly:

By not selling bikes with dura ace, they are immediatley limiting themselves to just fitness and not racing which is a shame.

nope they have now got a womens flat bar range called sub - lime, with shorter TT length, narrow bars, ladies saddle etc

so in reality the range is an expansion on what they stated with the Vitale and Vitale pro last season
