Good call John..and great post Oli... TDU only eh....

I talked with Hendy last week...was just doing max power stuff..as he tried mixing it up a bit and wasnt getting the gains. He has a great train...Swift is fast and strong as is CJ...so power wise they can match and better Columbia. The interesting thing for me will be will Hendy get over those hills... as this was the reason he wasnt Cavs lead out in the TDF. I am picking he will, as I think he has allot to prove to himself and others :-) If he does, unless a break wins the tour, I believe he can win it. On the subject of Greipel V Renshaw..I think Greipel is a stronger sprinter who can hold top end for longer..whereas Renshaw is a short fast burst....

Be great to see a kiwi on the top of the podium wouldnt it...

It is quite interesting the Renshaw V CJ comparisons.
Both were in the FDJ development squad that Brad and Rod McGee ran for a few years. Renshaw dominated in that squad. You could see Renshaws class then. You could also see CJ's contacts.
Both are great guys and have wished all the best for this year.
Surely the training Renshaw does for the leadout man would be different for CJ who was the sprinter Gydey?

Be interesting to see if CJ can convert his speed to the leadout. Hope so

Sounds like Colombia did the job pretty comprehensively. Have to wait till 10.30pm for the highlights on TV.

Hendy in the mix for 5th. Alby's defence is well and truly over though - 8.22 down!!
