I can't wait to get my arse over to Europe and ride some of these classic hills...
It should be done at least once in your life.
Just spent 5 weeks (July & August) in France, Spain & Switzerland. Climbing in the Pyrenees, Alps and Picos . . . . .
The Tourmalet 4 times in 4 days, Aubisque, Solour, Marie Blanc, Porte, Alpe d'Huez and many many more . . . .
All on the racing bike.
Yeah me next year hopefully - can't wait....dispensation from the missus to stay on in europe after our mini OE to do ridingI'll have about two weeks but limited funds - Tourmalet is at the top of my list. Mite just do a tour or something - less fuss when its organised for you and your on your own!
