Hmmm, lot of travelling for team support staff. Anyone want to sponsor a coach?

Cool the TTT is back on the books. Miss the old Hope Gibbons and TTT from Nationals.

as per usual those at the top of corporate management who can not get their heads arround the fact that working families with track cyclists at both elite and junior "elite" now may have to travel twice to invercargill ( a month apart), the coaching staff like wise (not that many paid coaches in this country)( gee the coaches must have really understanding bosses in a recession to have that much time off work)
Funny how bike nz jump on the back of hard working cycling successes, when in fact they have not really given any support in their endeavours?
funny when a major change in track national events schedules gets made in a democratic society by a select few that will effect the future shape of track in this country, no mandate was was called for, no competitors, coaching staff were asked to comment.
Just the select few with their school ties in hand, their shutters on, and the calluses building up on their backs from all their back slapping!!!!!
does new zealand really have that many elite track cyclists to justify such an extravegance of two major track meets?
i spose the endurance riders need more time on the track maybe, are there enough elite riders per region to put together a team pursuit team? men and women? gee sounds like the programme might need to be cut back to individual pursuit only. is that why the event is over a week end?
Oh forgot to mention the fact that why will school age competitors be allowed to have time off school for attend CLUB meet NOT a NATIONAL track champs , as they have been scheduled after school has started, nor have the management considered the fact that THAT is the START of the UNIVERSITY year, for first year uni students (under 19's) are they that disconnected with reality?
